1. About BDxLive
BDxLive is an assistive diagnostic tool designed to help live sound operators identify potential audio issues with connected digital mixers. It provides recommendations based on mixer state readings and audio analysis.
2. Operator Responsibility
BDxLive does not replace an experienced audio engineer. Operators remain fully responsible for reviewing and confirming any recommended changes before they are applied to a connected mixer. Always verify that a recommended change is appropriate for your specific situation, equipment, and environment.
3. Pilot Software Status
During the pilot phase, BDxLive is early-stage software. It may contain bugs, incomplete features, or behavior that differs from documentation. Pilot users should:
- Test all features during rehearsal or non-critical time before relying on them during live events.
- Keep current mixer scenes, backups, and show files saved independently.
- Review every recommended change before applying it.
4. Use at Your Own Risk
BDxLive is provided on an "as is" basis. BoardDx makes no warranties regarding the software's fitness for any particular purpose. You use BDxLive at your own risk. BoardDx is not liable for any damages resulting from use of the software.
5. No Guarantee of Issue Detection
BDxLive may not detect every audio issue, and it may flag issues that are not actually problems in your context. Use professional judgment when evaluating any recommendation.
